Karlyn Carlisi is a paralegal with Maier Gutierrez & Associates. With over three consecutive years of litigation experience and even more years of legal study, she holds a deep passion for the law and tactical argumentation. The law has long been a passion for her, with the Law & Order theme song seared into her brain since birth. In a past life, she aided attorneys with motion practice and brief drafting, and she aims to provide the same level of support to attorneys and, most of all, to her clients.
Karlyn graduated magna cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. She also served as co-president of the university’s Mock Trial team, a role she held after seven years in the program spanning high school and college, and earned a bid to the Opening Round Championship Series semifinals during her tenure.
Outside of work, you’ll find Karlyn passionately cheering for her two favorite sports teams: the New Orleans Saints and the Vegas Golden Knights. She also enjoys exploring music by her favorite artists and is an avid creative writer and published poet.
